The OAuth Working Group sessions at this meeting are directly relevant to MCP's auth efforts — active IETF topics including fine-grained authorization, mixup attack protection, and OAuth for agentic use cases all inform the foundations MCP's auth working groups are building on.

Community members working on MCP auth are encouraged to follow or attend the OAuth WG sessions and bring relevant outcomes back to the MCP Auth Interest Group and Fine-Grained Auth WG.
