Planning, designing, and building the Inspector V2
Our Inspector is a critical piece of software for deterministically testing MCP servers. However, it appears to have been initially built in a hurry and over time, with PR after PR added with no clear architectural guidelines to follow, it has become a Big Ball of Mud.
The team has resolved to do a complete rethink of all aspects of the project with an eye toward improved maintainability, testability, and usability.
